CEX Lincoln – Fire Exit Door Replacement
During a routine service inspection, the fire exit door was found to be operating incorrectly and did not open as intended. Due to the condition of the door and the associated safety concerns, a recommendation was made to replace the door assembly. A quotation was subsequently provided and approved for the replacement works. The existing defective fire exit door was removed and replaced with a new door assembly. Following installation, the door was tested to ensure correct operation, smooth opening and closing, and compliance with fire escape requirements. The replacement works have been completed successfully, and the fire exit door is now fully operational and functioning as intended. Works Completed: Identified faulty fire exit door during service inspection. Provided quotation for replacement due to operational defects. Removed existing door and associated hardware as required. Supplied and installed new fire exit door. Tested door operation and escape function. Confirmed door opens and closes correctly and is fit for purpose. Status: Completed and operational.
